2nd hand Canon 350D, with a 2nd hand Sigma 50-500 lens. (1st version).

I have another 2nd hand 350D with a 50mm portrait lens and a 10-22mm wide angle lens.
And then I have 2x 20Ds with a 100-400 IS lens and a 17-85 IS lens.

Got all my kit off Ebay. Been using digital since 2006 and still learning from wet film.

Shoot fast stuff in Manual [M] or Aperture Mode [AV] and slow stuff in Shutter Priority [TV]

I have a Nikon D5000 with a sigma 70-300mm and I mainly like to shoot bikes. Did consider getting a sigma 50-500 for wildlife, but at £500 2nd hand it's not cheap. Would like a decent nikon f/2.8 300mm lens but they are over £1k 2nd hand :(

Hobbies are never cheap,

I need to take 1 of my camera bodies to Lehmanns in Stoke for a Service and clean which is £160.

Jessops and Jacobs who send cameras to the same place would charge up to another £90 more.

I see that you are into photography, Nhs biker, quite good at that. That is something I do know about. There was a very famous camera shop at Charing X corner in Glasgow when I was young, they used to sell Bronicas, Hassleblads, Rollei TLR and Nikons. My Dad had a Pentax S1A, we had in 1962 and it is still in the house and even works, but we keep it in the family, not much of him left to remember apart from that, but I could never have afforded those cameras in that shop in those days. Working in those type of shops in later life has been a bonus, but I used to have a Pentax me super and then the Canon autofocus models now it is Panasonic G1 which is great and Panasonic lumix tz65 which is good for distance shots, but they are giving me a loan of a Pentax 24 times zoom digital next week for some pictures that I will be taking during this month. Have you done NHS Scotland at all, cheers billiemac.
